Auburn Pro Day

Per NFL Prospect analyst Gil Brandt:

The Auburn Pro Day was well organized and run well. It featured a big barbecue after it was over, so there were a lot of fat and happy scouts there.

The players worked out indoors on FieldTurf. Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff and Giants scouting director Mark Ross were among the player personnel executives in attendance. Hmmm, wonder if Alabama’s pro day taking place tomorrow had an impact on the number of teams going to Auburn today?

Here are the prospects that merit mentioning:

Sen’Derrick Marks, an underclass defensive lineman, measured in at 6-foot-1 3/8, 301 pounds. He kept his 40 time from the combine. He had a 9-foot, 6-inch broad jump, a 4.76-second short shuttle, a 7.80-second three-cone drill and 16 bench press reps. He participated in position drills.

CB Jerraud Powers checked in at 5-9, 187 pounds. He ran a 4.43 and 4.45 in the 40, had a 35-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot, 3-inch broad jump, a 4.31 short shuttle and a 6.91 three-cone drill. He looked very good in the positional drills.

G Tyronne Green came in at 6-1 1/2, 305 pounds. He didn’t run the 40 due to a quad strain. He had a 28 1/2-inch vertical, an 8-foot, 6-inch broad jump, a 4.80 short shuttle and an 8.12 three-cone drill.

RB Brad Lester measured in at 5-9 1/2, 190 pounds. He ran a 4.55 and 4.52 in the 40, had a 38.5-inch vertical, a 10-foot, 4-inch broad jump, a 4.36 short shuttle, a 7.06 three-cone drill and 18 bench press reps.

Return specialist Tristan Davis checked in at 5-9 3/8, 212 pounds. He had a 4.43 and 4.43 in the 40, a 31-inch vertical, a 9-foot, 9-inch broad jump, a 4.43 short shuttle, a 7.27 three-cone drill and 18 lifts in the bench press.
