Earlier this month I covered the Missouri Pro Day that focused on the defensive side of the ball, well it was finally time for studs like Jeremy Maclin, Chase Daniel and Chase Coffman to strut their stuff on the campus where they made a name for themselves on Saturday and hope to translate that knowledge to a new destination on Sundays. Here's how the fellas fared with a nice statistical update from NFL.com and my main man, the G-Beezy.
WR Jeremy Maclin (6-0¼, 197 pounds) ran a 4.43 and 4.47 in the 40, had a 10-foot broad jump, a 35½-inch vertical jump, a 4.25 short shuttle and a 7.12 cone drill.
TE Chase Coffman (6-6, 247 pounds) had a CAT-scan yesterday and it showed his foot injury is 80 percent healed. He subsequently did not do the workout drills and just caught passes.
QB Chase Daniel ran a 4.86 and 4.79 in the 40 and had a 9-foot broad jump.
Maclin is a first rounder based on talent and potential alone, Coffman would be a second rounder if he was able to workout and probably slips into the third and Chase Daniel is likely a sixth or seventh rounder.
