According to the Denver Post, the Denver Broncos worked out the Louisville center Eric Wood today. The Broncos have been active and free agency and now that their activity is drawing to a close they are starting to shift their personnel's focus on to the draft and it looks as if Wood is getting the first looks.
The Broncos have Casey Weigmann and Ben Hamilton in the interior of their offensive line so they could stand to upgrade at either of those positions with Wood as both fellas are getting a little long in the tooth and only have so much time left in em'. Wood is a mauler who would be a nice addition in the center of that line book ended by up and coming athletic tackles Ryans Clady and Harris.
I think the Broncos could look at Wood in the third round as he's a solid prospect who could be a great starter a couple years down the line. The Broncos will also be visiting Boston College defensive tackle B.J. Raji in the upcoming days and he could very well be their target in round 1. Should make for an interesting few days for the Broncos, especially with the whole Jay Cutler saga going down.
