Furman Pro Day

25 NFL teams, that's right, count em' 25 NFL teams were represented at the Furman Pro Day... unfortunately it wasn't due to any specific or amazing talent but more because Clemson had their Pro Day in the morning and Furman was on the way and scouts thought "Hey, might as well." Luckily, they were not disappointed, especially with fast rising OT Joel Bell working out.

Here are the results courtesy of NFL.com:

OT Joel Bell (6-7, 316 pounds) participated at the combine in Indianapolis, stood on most of his numbers, though he put up 29 repetitions on the bench press.

CB William Middleton (5-9 3/8, 193 pounds) had fast 40 times of 4.43 and 4.42 seconds, and he posted a 36 1/2-inch vertical and a 10-foot, 9-inch broad jump. He also had a 4.37 short shuttle and a 7.33 three-cone drill, and he did 21 reps on the bench press.

Joel Bell is likely a early to mid third round selection and Middleton could see himself move up draft boards to a sixth or even late fifth selection.
