Jags keep tabs on Harvin

Seems as though the Jacksonville Jags are looking to strengthen that Florida bond by checking out in-state prospect Percy Harvin from the National Champion Gators. Percy Harvin really exploded at his Pro Day... though not literally... well, sort of, he didn't die or anything. But he did kill it in the drills by running fast, looking great coming in and out of his breaks, caught the ball well and pressed the bench bar more times then some of the offensive linemen on his team who double him in size.

With the recent troubles at the wide receiver position for the Jags they would be well served to look at one like Harvin early and often as they cut Matt Jones for his off field indiscretions, Reggie Williams will not be welcomed back, Jerry Porter was a bust acquisition and then the remainder Dennis Northcutt, Mike Walker and Troy Williamson comprise the absolute worst receiving trio in the league. So, help is definitely needed.

Luckily, the University of Florida has provided the Jags with some great depth as two years ago they got Reggie Nelson and last year they got Derrick Harvey. So, could this mean a three-peat is in the works? Only time will tell.
