Iowa State Pro Day

Guess what? Another lackluster Pro Day review! This time 8 NFL reps showed up at the Iowa State Pro Day and I can imagine they were incredibly surprised by the one prospect who blew up the testing drills. Here are the stats courtesy of NFL.com:

OL Doug Dedrick (6-3 3/4, 301 pounds) had times of 5.06 and 5.10 in the 40, and he had a 40 1/2-inch vertical and an 8-foot, 8-inch broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.63 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.77 seconds, and he added 21 reps on the bench press.

For an offensive lineman he had a really good workout, I don't think I've ever seen an offensive lineman reach a 40 in the vertical jump. He could see some draft consideration in the later rounds as he looks like a solid fit for a zone blocking scheme or could be a really good guard in a power scheme despite his lack of girth.
