Per NFL Prospect analyst Gil Brandt:
Ten NFL teams and one CFL team were present to watch 12 players work out indoors on FieldTurf at the Washington Pro Day. Among the players was OL Juan Garcia (6-2 1/4, 299 pounds), who ran a 5.29 and 5.28 40-yard dash and kept the rest of his numbers from the combine.
DB Mesphin Forrester (6-1 1/2, 201 pounds) ran a 4.52 and 4.53 in the 40-yard dash and posted a 32-inch vertical, a 9-foot, 8-inch broad jump, a 4.15 short shuttle, a 6.96 three-cone drill and 17 bench-press reps.
Mesphin has a solid workout and could potentially be a candidate for a change to free safety in the NFL as he has the desired size to be a safety but not the desired speed to be a cornerback. Not sure if it'll help or hurt him in the long run.
