Final Mock Draft ver 9.0 Round 4

Round 4:

101. Dallas Cowboys (from Detroit) – Jason Watkins, OT Florida

With the hundred and first selection the Dallas Cowboys grab the big tackle from Florida in Jason Watkins. The Cowboys need some younger players to start grooming to replace current starters Adams and Colombo as both are starting to age and are not the players they once were. Watkins is a big and solid offensive tackle who has been a consistent pillar of strength for the Florida Gator offense and he could potentially be a RT or LT in this league as he has great size and speed but could stand to get into the weight room and ass strength and I feel he would be a nice pick up to groom for the future and protect Tony Romo's blindside down the line as he is more a prototypical left tackle considering his athletic ability.

102. Kansas City Chiefs – Shonn Greene, RB Iowa

With the hundred and second selection the Kansas City Chiefs select the Doak Walker award winner in Iowa's power back Shonn Greene. The Chiefs may or may not deal Larry Johnson on draft day but the fact remains that they need a compliment for the speedy Jamaal Charles and Shonn Greene is the complete opposite as a bruising in between the tackle runner who will push the pile, play smash mouth football and make opposing defenses pay. At 5'10" 227 lbs. he has the size to withstand the wear and tear of the NFL season and I think his 1850 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns with be a great selling point in bringing him to Kansas City.

103. St. Louis Rams – Jairus Byrd, CB Oregon

With the hundred and third selection the St. Louis Rams select the big cornerback from Oregon in Jairus Byrd. The Rams have a lot of youth and speed at the cornerback position but they could definitely use some physicality, Ronald Bartell is a solid player but with Tye Hill on the other side and unproven corners in Justin King and Jonathan Wade, the Rams could use a cornerback who could come in right away and play the nickel package and eventually move into a starting role when the Rams move Tye Hill into the nickel spot. Jairus Byrd has all the talent to play for the Steelers, he had an amazing 14 pass break ups and 4 interceptions in his junior campaign and he has the size to play the run, he however may need to work on his speed, however, he is an amazing pick up here and he could potentially go earlier but as it currently stands the Rams grab him and improve their defense even more.

104. Cleveland Browns – Chip Vaughn, S Wake Forest

With the hundred and fourth selection that the Cleveland Browns select the hard hitting strong safety from Wake Forest in Chip Vaughn. The Browns let Sean Jones go and he signed with the Eagles, now the Browns already had a suspect secondary and losing Sean Jones makes the void even bigger so the Browns get extremely lucky as Chip Vaughn is still available and is easily the best player on the board and fills a glaring need. Chip Vaughn has been a solid and consistent player in the Wake Forest secondary since his redshirt freshman year and just continues to get better and better, he's a tackling machine, he's a ball hawk and he's very dangerous when lurking over the middle. Pairing up Vaughn and Pool with the emerging talent of Wright and McDonald combined with the pass rush of Brian Orakpo and Kamerion Wimbley and the Browns defense should be able to get off the field on third down and provide some really good opportunities for the offense by giving the Browns better field position and providing takeaways, another solid pick for the Cleveland Browns.

105. Seattle Seahawks – Bradley Fletcher, CB Iowa

With the hundred and fifth selection, the Seahawks go out and grab the top corner back available since they're having such a hard time covering the pass this year in Iowa's potential hybrid cornerback/safety prospect Bradley Fletcher. The guys currently playing opposite Marcus Trufant, Josh Wilson and Kelly Jennings are both nickel corners at best and Bradley Fletcher can come in immediately and start opposite the "Truf", but he also has the versatility to be a great FS (much like teammate from last year Charles Godfrey in Carolina) for the Seahawks so I think this is the best pick for them as Fletcher has looked really good at the East/West Bowl and he has definitely helped himself into serious contention for this selection as Fletcher has proved to have great cover and ball skills, he also has smooth hips and good speed and is probably better suited to be a cornerback then a safety but I think in a pinch if he needed he can transition there and be just as productive and considering his versatility there is no way he shouldn't be the selection.

106. Cincinnati Bengals –James Casey, TE Rice

With the hundred and sixth selection the Cincinnati Bengals select the talented pass catcher from Rice in James Casey. James Casey is mature prospect despite the fact he is redshirt sophomore, he spent some time in the minor leagues for the major league baseball association and he it seems he would rather be a football player then a baseball player. He is a great threat in the pass game but as Mike Mayock said; his next block will be his first. But the Bengals have blocking tight ends on the roster and could use a vertical threat as opposed to an inline blocker, though if he wants to be an every down starter he will need to start blocking but either way, he is solid value here and adds to the Bengals solid offense.

107. Jacksonville Jaguars – Keenan Lewis, CB Oregon State

With the hundred and seventh selection, the Jacksonville Jaguars select the talented cornerback from Oregon State in Keenan "Ivory Wayans" Lewis. It's unfortunate that the once stout Jacksonville Jaguars need to select a cornerback to boost the credibility of their secondary as it became quite a liability this past season. Next to defensive and offensive tackle, cornerback is their most pressing need and considering how anemic their pass defense was and the talent currently in place, the Jaguars would do well to select the corner with immense potential in Lewis, he has a big body and is good in press, he has great cover and ball skills to track and make plays on the long ball and he'll play the run. Putting Lewis on one side and Mathis on the other will give the Jaguars an incredibly talented pass defense that faces the Colts and Texans twice a year.

108. Miami Dolphins (from Oakland) – Joe Burnett, CB Central Florida

With the hundred and eighth selection, the Dolphins grab one of my favourite all around players in the draft in Joe Burnett from Central Florida. . Joe Burnett is a change changing cornerback, he is great in pass coverage and he's an amazing special teams player. In his senior season he had 44 tackles, 11 pass break ups, 4 interceptions, 2 return TDs and a blocked kick. That kind of production is something I think Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland will love as he also adds depth to defensive backfield and will help in returning kicks and punts and play on every single special team. He is a player of many talents and is of great value for the Dolphins who are hurting for some cornerbacks.

109. Green Bay Packers – Terrance Taylor, DT Michigan

With the hundred and ninth selection, the Green Bay Packers select the dominating defensive tackle from Michigan in Terrance Taylor. With the news of Green Bay moving to a 3-4 defense, they'll probably like to get an anchor for the middle of the line to keep opposing offensive linemen off their linebackers. Taylor is a big body with immense talent as he is able to rush the passer not simply a bull rushing beast. He can occupy multiple blockers allowing Barnett and Hawk to roam free and make plays sideline to sideline and considering Ted Thompson is known for his love of taking the best player available, Terrance Taylor also fits that designation as well.

110. Buffalo Bills – Gerald McGrath, LB Southern Mississippi

With the hundred and tenth selection, the Buffalo Bills select the speedy and undersized middle linebacker from Southern Mississippi in Gerald McGrath. McGrath is an aggressive defender who knows how to play in opposing teams backfields as he amassed 8 sacks and 32.5 tackles for a loss during his tenure at Southern Miss. I think he'll be a playmaker much in the way that Angelo Crowell was before he was released. With him gone, the Bills will have a huge hole at the weakside backer position and McGrath seems to be the perfect guy to strengthen that linebacking core as his only weak spot is his size and if he enters the right training program I think he can the playmaker they need as he has speed, toughness and intensity and can make big plays when it counts and he really stood out at the combine running incredibly fast considering the fact he was carrying an extra 10 pounds that he didn't have during his senior season at Southern Miss.

111. San Francisco 49ers – Michael Hamlin, S Clemson

With the hundred and eleventh selection the San Francisco 49ers select the Clemson safety Michael Hamlin. San Francisco released Keith Lewis and neither Dashon Goldson or Mark Roman can be a compliment to Michael Lewis in the secondary, this is where Singletary brings in the productive safety from Clemson who has the size and strength to be a strong safety but has the range and fluid hips to be a free safety. Michael Hamlin is as productive as they come, completing his time at Clemson with 326 tackles, 22 pass break ups and 14 interceptions, he is productive, he is solid and he can interchange safety positions if need be, he'll be a solid contributor on specials or in the secondary.

112. Houston Texans – James Davis, RB Clemson

With the hundred and twelfth selection, the Houston Texans go best player available and select the hard running Clemson back James Davis. The Texans offense was an absolute blast to watch this past season, with Schaub throwing bombs to Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter over top, Owen Daniels covering the underneath and Steve Slaton running his heart out, it's hard to find any flaws. They have two good tackles and a solid interior, so the only thing that is missing is a comparable back up tail back to get those tough yards and spell Slaton after his mad dashes to the endzone so I think the offensive minded Gary Kubiak goes with a running back to help out his offense even more and give the much needed spell to Steve Slaton and allow Aham Green to seek greener pastures.

113. San Diego Chargers – Antoine Caldwell, C/G Alabama

With the hundred and thirteenth selection, the San Diego Chargers select the versatile offensive lineman from Alabama in Antoine Caldwell. Caldwell is a big, nasty and limitless potential prospect and projects as a quality center in the NFL. He was a man of many talents for Alabama and started all across the line from Center to Tackle. Nick Hardwick is injured often and requires some depth, not to mention the Chargers lost Mike Goff, Antoine Caldwell fills two voids with one selection. Caldwell may be the key component in solidifying the offensive line and in most cases, I believe he will start from day one as well as he has a tremendous amount of upside and football IQ. He has the versatility to play center or guard for many years; he finishes blocks and is great in space, not to mention he anchors well in pass protection. He is without a doubt the next center on the board and I feel that he looked really impressive at the combine and even better at his Pro Day where he put Andre Smith to shame and I feel that with his versatility he has all the potential and talent to be a mid second round pick, but the Chargers are ecstatic to get him here.

114. Denver Broncos – Antonio Appleby, LB Virginia

With the hundred and fourteenth selection the Denver Broncos continue to move towards the 3-4 defense by selecting the big and nasty middle linebacker from Virginia, Antonio Appleby. If you're going to have a solid 3-4 defense you need an anchor to occupy multiple blockers and unfortunately, they still need to find that but for now, they need an interior linebacker who can play sideline to sideline, blitz the QB and cover in the pass game. Appleby should be able to step his game up and become the interior force that Denver has been looking for. They have had a revolving door at MLB and now they'll hopefully have a stalwart there in Appleby who can learn from Andra Davis and compliment D.J. Williams.

115. New York Jets (from Washington) – Brandon Gibson, WR Washington State

With the hundred and fifteenth selection, the New York Jets select the talented Washington State wide receiver in Brandon Gibson. The Jets have some solid receivers but they really lack that big bodied, big play threat that the city rival Giants had with Burress before he shot first of course. Gibson is 6'1" and runs extremely tough, he can take an easy slant pass and turn it into a first down or he can burn you on a jump ball in the end zone and I think he will get some good coaching from former Rams WR coach Henry Ellard who showed guys like Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce and Donnie Avery the ropes. Not to mention Cotchery could very well teach just how to climb the ladder to go up and get the ball considering his diminutive size and ability to come down with the ball. Gibson will become an instant target and teaming him up with Cotchery and the emerging Stuckey would be good for the Jets offense no matter who ends up under center.

116. New Orleans Saints – Kaluka Maiava, LB USC

With the hundred and sixteenth selection the New Orleans Saints select the 4th USC linebacker in this draft class in Kaluka Maiava the Samoan tackling machine. The Saints have some really glaring needs and this pick could be some more defensive line depth or a cornerback but considering the severe lack of picks that the Saints possess that can't afford to miss on these picks and they need to go BPA and grab Maiava. The Saints could actually use the services of Maiava at weakside or strongside backer while Jonathan Vilma mans the middle and he will also contribute on special teams as well which I believe will serve them best, that way they can have plenty of competition at the linebacker spot. Maiava is an extremely talented player who earned 2nd team All Pac-10 honours despite playing behind a 1st rounder and two second rounders in Matthews, Cushing and Maualuga. He'll be a nice addition to the Saints linebacking core and special teams unit and when teamed with their other selections, hopefully help the defensive unit produce to the same consistency of the offense.

117. Dallas Cowboys – Herman Johnson, OG LSU

With the hundred and seventeenth selection the Dallas Cowboys select the absolutely massive Louisiana State guard in Herman Johnson. The Cowboys have Kyle Kosier at left guard and that fella doesn't have much time left with the 'Boys. He has injury woes and he is not the player he once was, the Cowboys grab Herman Johnson and he probably sits for a year and learns the ins and outs from a guy who could potentially be mistaken for his twin in the massive Leonard Davis so that a few years down the road when he is ready, the Cowboys can yet again increase the mass and size of their offensive line when they input the 6'7" 360 lb. Johnson into the lineup… heh, that's a big Johnson.

118. New Orleans Saints (from New York) – Roy Miller, DT Texas

With the hundred and eighteenth selection the New Orleans Saints grab the feisty fireplug from Mack Brown's Longhorn program in Roy Miller. The Saints need to get stronger at the point of attack and they found a solid contributor in Sedrick Ellis but they need someone beside him who can occupy blockers and get one on ones outside for solid pass rushers Will Smith and Charles Grant. Roy Miller is the reason Brian Orakpo was so successful at Texas as he occupied multiple blockers, he stayed low to ground, (not like he has a choice at 6'0") he got great leverage and he collapsed the pocket. He will hopefully be a nice addition to the Saints defense with other picks Malcolm Jenkins and Kaluka Maiava.

119. Chicago Bears – DeAngelo Smith, CB Cincinnati

With the hundred and nineteenth selection the Chicago Bears select cornerback DeAngelo Smith from Cincinnati. This is the second starting cornerback from Cincinnati to be drafted and he heads to the Midway to play for Lovie Smith's defense. The Bears have seen some serious drop off in play from the cornerbacks Nathan Vasher and Charles Tillman, though they have some capable back ups in Bowman and Graham, the Bears could use a man of Smith's talents. He has the potential to go a lot earlier than this and the Bears grabbing him here is an absolute steal and value pick for them as he will fit incredibly well into their system, he plays the run, he's physical at the line of scrimmage, he has great ball skills and fluid hips and his lack of speed shouldn't be a problem considering the defense Lovie employs, he is an ideal fit for the Bears.

120. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Henry Melton, DE Texas

With the hundred and twentieth selection the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Texas defensive end Henry Melton. Melton is an intriguing pick here as some people have him very high and others have him very low. I for one think he's a mid second day selection as he has all the intangibles and measurables to be a solid LDE or RDE in the NFL as he proved have good strength in run support and the length and mobility to be a threat off the edge. The Buccaneers need some more talent at the defensive end position where Gaines Adams was the only defensive end to get into the backfield at all. Putting Melton in as a situational pass rusher to begin his career would stand to be great help for the ailing Tampa Bay defense, not to mention that Melton may be able to move into a starting role later in his career when he adjusts to the speed and tempo of the game.

121. Oakland Raiders (from Buffalo via Philadelphia) – Chris Clemons, S Clemson

With the hundred and twenty first selection the Oakland Raiders select Clemson safety Chris Clemons. Michael Huff has turned from starter to bust and Al Davis and Tom Cable would like to replace him, what are they going to look for first and foremost? You guessed it humble reader, SPEED! Chris Clemons burned up the track at the Scouting Combine by running an official 4.41 forty and it was easily the fastest among a very suspect secondary class. Chris Clemons has the athletic ability to be a free safety but will likely be a strong safety as he is very tight in the hips and will like be better in the box then in space where he may be taken advantage of in coverage.

122. Houston Texans (from Minnesota) – Jarrett Dillard, WR Rice

With the hundred and twenty second selection, the Houston Texans select the productive wide receiver from Rice in Jarrett Dillard. Dillard is undersized and his measurables won't jump out at you but plain and simple, the boy gets it done. In 4 years at the perennial bottom feeder Rice he amassed 292 receptions, 4,138 yards and 60 TDs. As for the Texans, they are looking to add some more explosion and productivity to their offense opposite Andre Johnson and the Texans could use a new weapon and Dillard is that kind of player, he has great hands, he runs great routes and he has the career production to back it up. He made a name for himself playing on Saturdays but I think it's on Sunday where he'll really shine, especially with emerging gun slinger Matt Schuab throwing to him.

123. Baltimore Ravens – Ricky Jean-Francois, DT/DE LSU

With the hundred and twenty third selection the Baltimore Ravens select LSU defensive tackle, Ricky Jean Francois. I feel Jean Francois is a great fit and the perfect type of player for Baltimore's multiple defensive system. He can be a DE in a 3-4; he can be an UT in a 4-3 and can play NT in the 46. Using his versatility and natural abilities along side Haloti Ngata and Trevor Pryce and being an upgrade over Justin Bannan, the pick of Jean Francois will go a long way to strengthening the Raven's defense even more. Ricky hasn't done much to improve his stock but considering the severe drop off in talent for guys who can play that 3-4 defensive end spot the Ravens would be smart to grab their guy in RJF here as I think he can be a solid contributor his first year if he's part of a rotation and that's something the Ravens like to employ.

124. New England Patriots – Cornelius Lewis, G/T Tennessee State

With the hundred and twenty fourth selection, the New England Patriots select offensive guard/tackle Cornelius Lewis from Tennessee State. Now, the Pats drafted Fenuki Tupou earlier but I think he is a guard or right tackle at the next level while I feel Cornelius Lewis has the ability to be a dominating left tackle if he can shed some poundage and keep his athletic ability up. Like I've been saying, the Patriots have an absolute ton of players who have expiring contracts and the older vets with inflated contracts will likely be given their release so the Pats who are excellent drafters will need to find replacements, lucky for them and unlucky for the rest of the league, they have a wealth of picks in which to make the necessary picks to ensure they have system guys ready to go next year.

125. San Francisco 49ers (from Atlanta) – Terrance Knighton, DT Temple

With the hundred and twenty fifth selection the San Francisco 49ers select Temple nose tackle Terrance Knighton. The 49ers don't really have a big body 2 gap filling nose tackle for their 3-4 and Knighton is probably the best and last one available so I think the 49ers jump all over him. He showed up looking really good at Scouting Combine, he ran smooth, looked good in position drills and put together a very impressive workout that turned him from a late round selection in a fourth round pick. I think putting him together with Justin Smith and if Kentwan Balmer can make strides after being useless last year it will do a lot to help out the 49er defensive front.

126. Oakland Raiders (from Miami) – Brandon Williams, DE Texas Tech

With the hundred and twenty sixth selection, the Oakland Raiders select the pass rush beast Brandon Williams from the resurgent Texas Tech program. The Oakland Raiders have needed a pass rush to compliment their solid pass coverage as Derrick Burgess has not been the sack king he has been in previous years and bringing in Williams will give the Raiders an aggressive pass rush monster who knows how to create pressure all on his lonesome. He has great speed, great strength and great instincts, he is an every down player and would flourish in a 4-3 system as a RDE or in a 3-4 system as a rush LB. Williams did a very good job at the combine in my estimation, the Crypt Keeper himself will not be able to contain his glee as he rises from his coffin to make the call down to the selection team to make Williams their pick here.

127. Indianapolis Colts – T.J. Lang, OT Eastern Michigan

With the hundred and twenty seventh selection the Indianapolis Colts select Eastern Michigan offensive tackle T.J. Lang. The Colts have an oft injured left tackle protecting the blindside of one of the greatest quarterbacks to grace the NFL in years in Peyton Manning, and book ending him is a penalty inducing and lackluster right tackle in Ryan Diem and Tony Ugoh, the depth behind them is not great either in Michael Toudouze and Charlie Johnson so the Colts grab Lang from Eastern Michigan who is big, solid, athletic and could play either left tackle or right tackle and even kick inside and play either guard spot. If Ugoh can stay healthy, Diem can limit his penalties, Pollak replace Saturday and Lilja stays solid at guard then Lang would be a great addition at guard… and if not, he can be a solid tackle and provides versatility and depth.

128. Carolina Panthers – Brandon Tate, WR North Carolina

With the hundred and twenty eighth selection the Carolina Panthers select the North Carolina wide receiver in Brandon Tate. Tate has seen his stock fall significantly with a poor campaign due to some serious knee injuries and testing positive for banned substance at the Scouting Combine but it doesn't take away from the fact that the boy has talent. He has great size and skill but will need someone to stay on to make sure they can get everything they can out of him and with Tate coming into the Panthers locker room he can look up to Mushin and Steve Smith for guidance as Tate has the given ability to be a first day selection. However, unlike the other North Carolina wide receivers, he's not as good a blocker as his counterparts but he is more of a vertical threat, regardless, he has all the skills and at this point in the draft the Panthers should grab Tate and hopefully finally find a young wide receiver who can contribute.

129. New York Giants – Kraig Urbik, OG Wisconsin

With the hundred and twenty ninth selection the New York Giants select the Wisconsin offensive guard Kraig Urbik. The Giants have few needs and so many picks that they can go BPA and get solid depth, Urbik is a mauling guard who would look great blocking for Brandon Jacobs. The Giants have a solid offensive line but if there are any significant injuries to any starter the Giants don't have a lot of experienced guys behind them, so they would definitely benefit by grabbing the solid Wisconsin guard who will help pave the way in the run in the future and help protect Eli Manning.

130. Tennessee Titans – Mohamed Massaquoi, WR Georgia

With the hundred and thirtieth selection the Tennessee Titans select the polished possession receiver from Georgia in Mohamed Massaquoi. The Titans found a playmaker in the passing game in Justin Gage who became Kerry Collins go to guy down the stretch but they need someone opposite him to take off some of the pressure and make the clutch catches and I think Mohamed Massaquoi is that player as he runs fantastic routes and is deceptively fast for someone at 6'2". The Titans are usually not a fan of drafting wide receivers early but they have too much of a need not to grab someone as talented as Massaquoi here as he has been a productive and consistent weapon for the Georgia Bulldogs.

131. Arizona Cardinals – Brandon Underwood, CB Cincinnati

With the hundred and thirty first selection, the Arizona Cardinals select the third cornerback from Cincinnati who can also play free safety in Brandon Underwood. The Cardinals magical run to the Super Bowl was improbable but the more you watched them, the more they looked like they belonged. However, the Cardinals could not stop the pass when it counted and considering Roderick Hood may as well change his name to Toast, the Cards could use another young talented corner to put in the nickel spot flanking new acquisition Bryant McFadden and with DRC who looked really good even in the big time spotlight.

132. New England Patriots (from Pittsburgh) – Asher Allen, CB Georgia

With the hundred and thirty second selection in the NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select the talented and speedy corner from Georgia in Asher Allen. The Patriots are currently extremely weak in the secondary and some injuries to some of their younger guys last year hindered their ability to learn the system and grow as players, I'm sure they're high on Wilhite and Wheatly, but Asher Allen is an incredibly talented corner and the Patriots like to grab their corners later on, so I can imagine Allen would be in the minds of front office around now, this pick could also be some depth on the offensive line but I think Asher Allen is too valuable for the Patriots to pass up considering their need for quality cornerback depth.

133. San Diego Chargers – David Bruton, S Notre Dame

With the hundred and thirty third selection the San Diego Chargers select the speedy Golden Domed safety in David Bruton. David Bruton was incredibly productive in his final season in the Golden Dome of Notre Dame where he compiled 93 tackles, 6 pass break ups, 3 interceptions. The Chargers could use an upgrade at the strong safety position opposite the productive Eric Weddle where Clinton Hart isn't holding up in coverage or against the run. David Bruton would be a great special teams player to start his career and would eventually move into a starting role where I think he could be productive safety and playmaker in the Chargers secondary as Bruton has been on a hot streak after his stellar combine workout it would not be a stretch of the imagination to see the Chargers selecting the only Golden Domer in this draft. Bruton was kind of quiet before the draft and probably was a mid-late second day selection but he has shown he has the size, strength, speed and agility to potentially be a great strong or free safety in the NFL.

134. San Diego Chargers – Pannel Egboh, DE Stanford

With the hundred and thirty fourth selection the San Diego Chargers select the big Cardinal defensive lineman in 3-4 defensive end Pannel Egboh. Egboh is the perfect type of player for San Diego's defensive system as he will more than likely be a DE in their 3-4 alignment as he has great athleticism and skill for a man of his stature. I feel that the Chargers will be using his versatility and natural abilities to great means and by placing him along side Jamaal Williams and Luis Castillo he'll develop more fully, mot to mention that Egboh is an immediate upgrade over ex-Charger and now Cowboy Igor Olshanksy. The pick of Pannel will go a long way to strengthening the Chargers's defense even more and I think he falls here and the Chargers grab him without haste as he can be a solid contributor in his first year if he's part of a rotation and that's something that I know the Chargers and defensive coordinator Ron Rivera like to employ.

135. Tennessee Titans – Jonathan Luigs, C Arkansas

With the hundred and thirty fifth selection the Tennessee Titans select the stout center from Arkansas in Jonathan Luigs. The Titans had some seriously great play from their offensive line this year, specifically from their All Pro Left Tackle Michael Roos and Kevin Mawae. However, Mawae is getting old and he missed a lot of time due to injury so the Titans could potentially pick his successor if they feel Leroy Harris isn't able to get it done. They need a force in the middle who can call out blocking assignments and make sure that the line knows who to block. Not to mention help open up lanes in the running game so that Chris Johnson and LenDale White can consistently bludgeon opposing defenses with their dynamic and powerful smash and dash run game.

136. Indianapolis Colts – Rhett Bomar, QB Sam Houston State

With the hundred and thirty sixth selection, the Indianapolis Colts select the talented QB from Sam Houston State (formally Oklahoma) in Rhett Bomar. Bomar could have been second round pick had he not gotten booted from Oklahoma as he was slowly becoming a credible threat in the passing game, but he slides here in the fourth to the Colts. Now, considering what the Patriots did last year and the fact that Peyton looked off the first few games this season having a capable back up on the roster is definitely a plus for the Colts considering Jim Sorgi is not capable of leading a team to victory while Rhett Bomar tore it up at Sam Houston State this past season.
