Fresno State Pro Day

Per NFL Prospect analyst Gil Brandt:

Fourteen players worked out on grass outdoors, with representatives from four NFL teams in attendance. Here are some key observations from the March 11 Fresno State pro day:

TE Bear Pascoe (6-5 1/2, 253 pounds) ran 4.90 and 4.89 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He posted a 30.5-inch vertical, a 9-foot, 4-inch broad jump, a 4.52-second short shuttle, a 7.19-second three-cone drill and 14 bench-press repetitions.

OL Bobby Lepori (6-4 1/2, 297 pounds) ran a 5.37 and 5.40 in the 40. Lepori posted a 27-inch vertical, a 7-foot, 6-inch broad jump, a 4.55 short shuttle, a 8.02 three-cone drill and 18 bench-press lifts.

QB Tom Brandstater (6-5, 222 pounds) will hold a private workout April 11.

Bear Pascoe could have seen himself being drafted in the later rounds but after running really slow and repping very poorly, I highly doubt he gets a sniff outside of the late 7th round. I'm interested to see how Tom Brandstater works out as I believe he can be a sleeper QB candidate in the 5th or 6th round as he has great measurables and has the NFL QB look to him.
